Upsides of today: I saw my dream car (SLS AMG) pulling out of a place near my apartment. Maybe it lives nearby? All in all not a terrible day.

Another downside: My entire left side hurts.

Yeah, just a really good lesson in why you wear a helmet. I lost about 6 square inches of skin from various points around my body, but no helmet would have meant a trip to the hospital.

I just lost a bit of skin. The Duc lost a mirror, an indicator cover, scratched the carbon fiber, and dented the tank with the handlebars. Thankfully my frame sliders did their job and took most of the force.
